CurriculumBack to Key Information
We are Heatherbook is a bespoke curriculum model that reflects the wide diversity of our school community. It provides a broad and balanced education that meets the needs of all children, providing regular opportunities for children to develop as independent, confident and successful learners. It recognises and reflects the needs of our pupils as wells as the context of our city and local community, aiming to ensure that all pupils can leave Heatherbrook with the confidence and ability to succeed and flourish in modern Britain
Parents will be given advice on how to support the children at home in a way that builds on and enhances the children’s learning in school through the use of knowledge organisers, parent meetings and information sharing sessions.
We aim to teach children how to grow into positive, responsible people, who can work and co-operate with others. We hold regular information sessions to provide further information to parents and carers throughout the year. If you have any questions about your child's learning, please feel free to contact your child's class teacher via the school office.
